CFB: The Weekend Ahead Fills The Belly

The college football menu for Saturday, Nov. 1 looks, dare I say, delicious . . .

Shrimp cocktail anyone? Join CBS at 3:30 for the world's largest outdoor cocktail party between the No. 5 Florida Gators and No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs. Both coming off big wins, these SEC East powers have alot to prove and a score to settle.

Like watching pass-happy offense? Tune into ABC at 8:00pm for No. 1 Texas against the No. 6 Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock. Can TT QB Graham Harrell outshine Colt McCoy and make his mark on the wide-open Heisman race? We'll see.

Passing through Lumberton? Then mosey on down to Pembroke for some high-quality football. UNCP at 7-1 looks to dismantle winless Concord, scheduled for a 1pm kickoff.

Orange crush returns to the Brice With just three wins all-time in 25 meetings with the Volunteers, the 5-3 South Carolina Gamecocks need this one bad in hopes of a New Year's Day bowl game. Anyone remember the Outback Bowl with sweet Lou? 7:00pm, ESPN2.

Yessir it is!

Arkansas gametime was announced this afternoon, 7pm on payperview. Looks like I just be checking the score occasionally on the bottom line.
